A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Lance Wilson was a portrait and event photographer throughout the Southeast for over 10 years before expanding his artistry into visual arts. After buying his first piece of original artwork in 2020, he was challenged by issues of access and promotion of local artist and was determined to fill a gap. He began working with artist Chante Thompson, to broaden the exposure and promotion of her work that would build an awareness of her talent yet would allow her to focus all her creative energy on her unique pieces. Since Lance began working with Chante in 2019, her work can be found throughout NC, CA, FL and GA and two murals featured in Dose on Trade Street and NataBelle’s bakery, both in Winston-Salem, NC.
